Vic: Police hunt 29-year-old over bludgeon killing
A 29-year-old man is on the run from police .. after a bloody fight which left a man
dead in a Melbourne lane.
Police say the 48-year-old victim was repeatedly struck in the head with an iron bar
in Queens Lane before 9am (AEDT) today.
They say the suspect then ran away .. and is believed to have thrown the weapon away
somewhere in the area.
The pair allegedly knew each other as former room-mates living in the same boarding house.
Police say they know who the man is .. and want him to turn himself in.
