THERE are more than just Paralympics medals coming to South Africa from China this month: Cape Town's own China Town has opened in Ottery.
The property company Redefine Income Fund has invested R45 million in a retail park adjoining the Ottery Hypermarket, which accommodates 48 retail units selling predominantly Chinese imports.
The idea for the development of a China Town in a modern open-air mall has been inspired by the success of three similar shopping centres in Gauteng.
