Fed: ACCI push to retain AWAs =2
Opposition workplace relations spokesman CRAIG EMERSON says common law contracts, instead
of AWAs, would provide ample flexibility for workers and employers.
He says Labor opposes AWAs because they are used to breach award working conditions.
Dr EMERSON has attacked the ACCI's assertion that AWAs are the fastest growing employment
instrument in Australia, saying they only cover three per cent of the workforce.
